Dare! is a one-of-a-kind artistic encounter between a choreographer and a group of dance performers, brought together to create an ephemeral, spontaneous, and vibrant work in full view of the audience. This collective creative experience is a founding concept of the choreographic company Danse K par K, which has been producing the event since 2005. The process culminates in an exclusive performance born of this artistic effervescence.

After the Dare! 2025 adventure in Québec in September, and Dare! Brussels last December, Karine Ledoyen, Karine Pontiès, and Bruno Pradet are once again joining forces, this time on French soil. Between April 13th and 24th, 2026, the three choreographers will be at the Centre de Développement Chorégraphique National – Boom’Structur in Clermont-Ferrand, for two weeks of sharing around the creation La douceur des mammouths. This new experience for the artistic trio aims to continue their joint exploration of a simple and bold idea: using “Yes” as the fundamental principle of collaboration.

The experience will be shared with 8 new performers. A residency showing for the public will take place at Boom’Structur CDCN on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

An outdoor performance will also take place on June 6th, 2026, as part of the 1km de danse event in Clermont-Ferrand.

World premiere: April 13-24 2026
