One month after the launch of Dare! 2024, Danse K par K is pleased to share a positive and deeply enriching assessment of this year’s edition. After five sold-out evenings of choreographic creations at La Poudrière de l’Esplanade, it’s clear that the public was just as eager as we were to reunite with large-ensemble dance. The nine solos presented in the fortifications, in Parc de l’Artillerie, and around the Grand Théâtre de Québec once again moved audiences, who showed up—every time—for an experience that was always unique.
With creativity buzzing and inspired by the 39 artists of Dare!, the Danse K par K team now dives into the fall season and the cultural year ahead. To celebrate our 20th anniversary and honour the spirit of choreographic resistance that drives us, we promise to multiply the moments of gathering, celebration, and continued resistance.
