James Viveiros

Choreographer and performer

James is a Montréal-based performer, choreographer and teacher. He is a graduate of the musical theatre and dance programs at Grant MacEwan College. He was a member of COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD (CMC) and for the past seventeen years has performed in contemporary dance festivals around the world. He has also collaborated with numerous Canadian companies and choreographers as both performer and creator.
James has twice received funding from the CALQ to become a certified Gaga teacher and studied with Batsheva under the direction of Ohad Naharin in Tel Aviv, Israel. He dances, choreographs, teaches movement and leads rehearsals both nationally and internationally.

Pascal Asselin (Millimetrik)

With over a decade spent exploring the twists and edges of electronic music through an impressive catalogue of releases, Millimetrik (Pascal Asselin) unveils his tenth and most surprising work to date, Sun-drenched. Looking back at the trajectory of this veteran of the Québec electronic scene, one sees an artist constantly reinventing himself through concepts inspired by travel, photography and cinema.
The sounds that have shaped his seventeen-year career evoke a vast musical landscape drawing from ambient, trip-hop and now house, disco, soul and dance music. In 2014, he won the GAMIQ award for Best Electronic Album for Lonely Lights. He has performed on the stages of Osheaga, FEQ, FME, MUTEK and the Brussels Electronic Music Festival, among others. The Québec-born artist received the ADISQ Félix Award for Best Electronic Album in 2019.
