About the Artists

Nelly Paquentin

Choreographer and performer

A graduate of L’École de danse de Québec in 2018, Nelly works in the field as a performer with companies such as Danse K par K, Le Papillon Blanc, Les Incomplètes and Le fils d’Adrien danse. She has also had the opportunity to explore the spectrum of collective creation with versatile artists such as Ariane Voineau (L’autre, elles et moi) and Claudelle Houde-Labrecque (Under).

Nelly also collaborates with the theatre and performance community as an assistant director for La Déchiqueteuse(Phèdre (solo)) and Les Reines (.ES – CHAPITRE 1 – SOI). She continues to hone her eye as an outside eye for various projects.
She is also responsible for registrations at L’Artère, Development and Professional Training in Dance and Movement Arts, and is now serving her second year on the artistic committee of the Maison pour la danse de Québec.

Antoine Berthiaume

Sound designer

Originally from Montréal, Antoine is a guitarist and composer active in the fields of improvisation, contemporary music, dance and theatre.

Over the years, his work has been enriched through collaborations with creators such as Gilles Poulin-Denis, Mélanie Demers, Annie Gagnon, Thierry Huard, Aurélie Pédron, Audrey Bergeron, Louis-Élyan Martin, Jessica Serli, Alan Lake, Louise Lecavalier, Cavalia and Cirque du Soleil.

His music appears on a dozen releases on the labels Ambiances Magnétiques, Audiogram, Sainte-Cécile and SONY, as well as internationally with Vos Records (Japan), Incus Records (UK) and Starkland (USA).
An occasional columnist for Classical Guitar Magazine, he holds a doctorate in digital music from the Université de Montréal under the supervision of Robert Normandeau.
