About the Artists
Léa Ratycz-Légaré
Choreographer and performer
Upon graduating from L’École de danse de Québec, Léa began working with several Québec choreographers. In parallel, through the collectives LAS and Germination — both of which she co-founded — she deepens her interest in the relationship between the body and the image.
In March 2021, she was featured in La Rotonde’s season with Carte-Blanche, a project she initiated that unfolds across three countries: Tunisia, France and Canada. She also worked as an apprentice performer with the company Le fils d’Adrien danse for the creation Les 10 commandements in the fall of 2020 and 2021.
Étienne Lambert
Sound designer
After completing his training at L’École de danse de Québec and studies in music, languages and political science, Etienne Lambert began a multidisciplinary artistic path that led him to work as a performer (Le Fils d’Adrien danse, Le CRue, Tedd Robinson) and as a sound designer (Geneviève Duong, Kay Keney…), while also developing his own collaborative projects (Ok. Pis après ?, BODIES/BUDDIES, Corps Célestes).
Since 2016, he has been involved with Nous Sommes L’Été, an organization supporting emerging artists, and co-hosts the improvisation evenings Les Lieux Communs in collaboration with L’Artère, art de la danse et du mouvement. He also served on the artistic committee of the Maison pour la danse from 2017 to 2020.
