Osez! is recruiting for its next edition in Québec City
Osez! is a one-of-a-kind artistic encounter between a choreographer and a group of dance performers brought together to create a living, ephemeral work right before the audience’s eyes.
Over the course of five days, spectators are invited to dive into the intimacy of the creative process, witnessing the emergence of a short choreographic piece. The experience culminates in an exclusive performance born from this artistic effervescence. For the very first time in the history of the event, three choreographers from three different countries (Karine Ponties, Karine Ledoyen, Bruno Pradet) will unite their visions in a collective creation, in collaboration with twelve Québec-based performers and a live on-stage musician.
In 2025, Osez! takes on a new dimension, resonating with the colourful, free-spirited, and feminist universe of Niki de Saint Phalle, whose work will be featured all summer at the MNBAQ. Inspired by her bold and committed artistic vision, the artists will explore themes that were dear to her: transformation, collective strength, and the liberated body.
