Guided by the simple desire to work together, the project La Nobody emerged spontaneously and intends to grow outside of all expectations.
Considered a satellite project of the companies MAYDAY and Danse K par K, La Nobody is conceived as a small pocket-sized piece, easy to carry from one place to another.
On stage: Jocelyn Pelletier, an actor by training and DJ for the occasion, and Karine Ledoyen, who embodies a female character with bipolar shades — a little worn-out and completely hysterical, clinging desperately to love. She moves but does not dance. She speaks but does not act. She revolts and conforms. She kills herself off and survives it. She preaches and grows bored. She submits and slips away.

La Nobody questions feminine identity and its relationship to the world. La Nobody highlights the makeup, the façades and the burdens. La Nobody lives in tune with her time, in decay and with impulses of self-destruction.
An unidentified artistic object, her creative momentum forces the work off the beaten path, outside definitions and programming frameworks.
Thus, La Nobody exists as she is: a misfit concept that fits nowhere.

With this project, we position our artistic approach outside of fluctuations, expectations and ambitions. Our only true intent is to create a space of freedom and experimentation for the invited artists, who commit themselves to shaping an authentic and atypical artistic object.
