Patrick Saint-Denis, the brilliant inventor behind the interactive wind machine featured in Trois paysages, signs the sound and technological design for this work. For Danse de nuit, he developed a system that allows the choreographer to make words dance while generating sensitive live music from the performers’ heartbeats.
Through this performance emerges a desire to reveal what lies hidden in the darkness and to pay tribute to fragility.
